Here are some of my most notable students over the past 15 years.

Jerry Rice

Regarded as the greatest Wide Receiver of all time in the National Football League.  Rated the #1 NFL player of all time by NFL.com.

Originally from Crawford, MS, I had the luxury of giving Jerry a 3-iron lesson in my home town at Greenville Country Club back in 1998!

Jerry has truly become an outstanding advocate for the game of golf!

Hugh Freeze

Selected as the Head Coach of the Ole Miss Rebels, December 2011

Former Head Coach of the Arkanasas State Red Wolves.  Led Arkansas State to a school best 10-2 record and a birth into the GoDaddy.com Bowl in 2012.

Most credited for coaching Michael Oher at Briarcrest Christian School which led to not only multiple state championships, but was part of a major motion picture titled “The Blind Side.”

Had the luxury of teaching Hugh many times at Memphis National Golf Club while he served as Head Coach at Briarcrest Christian School.

Abby Heck (Chickasaw Country Club)

• Abby is a 12 year-old 7th-grader at St. Agnes.
• Abby has played on the Tennessee Junior Golf Tour and the United States Junior Golf Tour since 2007.
• She has qualified for and participated in the U.S. Kids World Championship at Pinehurst, N.C. in 2010 and 2011.
• Spring 2011,  Abby won the Tennessee Middle School Golf Regional Championship.
• Spring 2011: She achieved her first hole-in-one on Chickasaw’s #3 during a middle school match.
• Summer 2012: Abby moved up to the Tennessee Junior Tour’s 12-14 year-old masters division. She won several tournaments and advanced to the season-ending championship.
• Fall 2011: Abby was the medalist in every Shelby 78 middle school match, leading her team to the league championship and for Abby, an individual championship.
• Fall 2011: Abby has three wins so far in the middle school division on the United States Junior Golf Tour and is currently in first place in the player rankings.
• Abby will begin her high school golf career in the fall of 2012; she will be a member of the St. Agnes Varsity team as an 8th-grader.

Rachel Heck  (Chickasaw Country Club)

• Rachel is a 10 year-old 4th-grader at St. Agnes.
• Rachel has won the Chickasaw Junior Club Championship every year since 2007.
• She has played on the Tennessee Junior Golf Tour and United States Junior Golf Tour since 2007.
• She has placed in the top 10 in the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship in Pinehurst, N.C. in 2009, 2010, and 2011.
• Summer 2010, she won the Tennessee Junior Tour State Championships in the 8 -11 year-old division as an 8 year-old.
• Summer 2011, as a 9 year-old, she moved up to the 12-14 year-old masters division on the Tennessee Junior Golf Tour. She even had a win and qualified for the season-ending championship.
• 2010- 2011, Rachel had 7 wins out of 10 starts on the United States Junior Golf Tour and was named USJGT Rising Stars Player of the Year.
• Rachel won the  Future Tour Championship in Greenville, MS in 2010 and 2011.
