Junior Development

My Junior Golf Programs Follow Three Simple Principles:

The program must be fun and enjoyable. Golf is a game that is supposed to be fun. Juniors play Golf because they find pleasure in it and not because their parents want them to play.
We help Juniors learn to play the game to the best of their ability. We educate them in proper Golf skills, rules, etiquette, basic strategy, and encourage them to practice and play.
We contribute to the personal development of each junior. We strive to teach them appropriate social skills, emotional control, and other positive character values.

Each season I host three (3) Junior Development programs: Spring, Summer and Fall. The Spring and Fall programs are after-school specialty programs and the Summer Program is usually divided into two (2) sessions: June and July. All programs are well attended. In fact, I have seen over 120 Juniors attend my program on an annual basis. Many tend to take up the game competitively and compete in local as well as national tournaments!

2018 Spring Junior Development Classes

@ Whisper Lake Country Club & Patrick Farms Golf Club

March – April
5-week, After-school Program
Classes are available on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Each class will meet once (1) per week for five (5) weeks
Each class is limited to a max of eight (8) students
There will be two (2) classes available each day:
Class #1 ~ Ages 5-8 … 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Class #2 ~ Ages 9-12 … 4:15 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.

Class #1 ~ Registration & Putting Instruction
Class #2 ~ Chipping Instruction
Class #3 ~ Full Swing Instruction
Class #4 ~ 3-Hole Scramble
Class #5 ~ Skills Test & Graduation

Each class will cover the fundamentals for putting, chipping and full swing as well as fun golf games!

The cost for the 5-week program is only $125 per member; $175 per non-member!
Fee includes a registration gift, instruction, prizes & graduation gift!

*** Please note that we also offer a Student Pass for only $200 per child, which entitles each child access to all three (3) Randy Watkins Golf Company properties for one (1) year to include member rates, etc. for special programs ***

PGA Junior League

PGA Junior League Golf is a fun, social and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls, ages 13 and under, to learn and enjoy the game of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals. Like many other recreational youth sports, participants wear numbered jerseys and play on teams with friends.
